BMS module, adjustable between 3S and 5S, factory set to 5S, for lithium batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.2V and maximum charging voltage of 3.6V per cell.
The module offers the possibility to add an NTC thermistor for the excessive temperature protection function.
The board can be used in two configurations, Split and Same Port (see the picture below for the two configurations). In Split mode, a higher continuous discharge current is supported compared to Same Port mode.
Setting the module in a different configuration than the one in the factory is done by a bridge between the B1 and B2 pads. In the 5S configuration, there are no links between the forests. In the 4S configuration, there is only one bridge in B1. In the 3S configuration, there is a bridge in B1 and B2. The bridge can also be made with an SMD resistor with a value of 0Ω.
