The 10S Lithium BMS protection module, 36V, 30A, represents an essential component for managing and protecting lithium-ion batteries in a configuration of 10 cells in series (10S). This advanced protection board integrates charge management functions and balanced protection to ensure safe, efficient and durable charging of 18650 batteries or other Li-ion cells.

The module allows fast and efficient charging of lithium-ion batteries, with a maximum charging current capacity of 10A and discharging up to 30A.

The balance function monitors and adjusts the voltage of each individual cell to ensure an even distribution of charge, thus preventing cells from being overcharged or overdissipated. Attention: The balance between the cells is done with a current lower than 100mA. It helps to maintain balance when small differences appear. If the batteries are of poor quality, used, with different internal resistance and different capacity, the balance cannot compensate for the voltage differences that inevitably appear.

The protective plate provides overcharge protection, overdissipation protection, overcurrent protection and output short circuit protection. Overtemperature protection is ensured by the integrated temperature probe. This is placed in direct contact with the battery pack.

Instructions:

Login steps:

1. Connect to pin B- the general minus of the 10S battery pack. B- related to the balance plug will also be glued to the general minus of the battery.

2. Continue gluing, in order , the successive voltages from the battery pack to the balance plug. The wires are colored with Red and Yellow to differentiate them better when they are glued in sequence. After the Black wire follows the Red one at 4.2V, the yellow one at 8.4V, the Red one at 12.6V, and so on until the final tension of 42V. Always measure the voltages before gluing.

3. Finally, connect the final plus of the 10S package to two directions: the discharge plug and the charging plug. Next, it will continue with the minus of the charging plug to pin C- and the minus of the discharge plug to pin P- .

Indications: Series and parallel installation of Lithium cells is done only if the battery voltages and specifications are equal (same voltage, same internal resistance, same capacity, etc.) . In order to equalize the voltage between the accumulators, they must be charged at the same level, and they must be connected in parallel for one or two days, thus allowing the balancing between the accumulators.
