DIY Kit 15KV high voltage generator module, usable as an ignition tool. This compact and efficient module is designed to be used with a 3.7V to 4.2V DC power supply, ideal for electronics enthusiasts looking for to build or experiment with ignition systems or similar projects . The module arrives as a KIT, without assembly/use instructions . Assembly is easy but requires a minimum of electronic knowledge, the only difficulties may arise when connecting the coils as you need to take them down the protective layer on the cable.

With this ignition module, you can generate an output voltage of up to 15KV, enough to produce an electric arc and demonstrate the principles of high voltage in a practical and controlled manner. This kit is perfect for those interested in exploring physics and electrical engineering through hands-on projects. It can also be used as an ignition device.

Specifications:

Supply Voltage: DC 3.7V-4.2V

Output Voltage: up to 15KV

Output power: 6W

Output current: 2A

Type: Ignition Coil

Instructions:

1. Tin the components on the plate, leaving the coil last.

2. Fasten the coil to the plate with the help of the plastic collar.

3. 4 wires come out of the coil. 2 thick, 2 thin. take a thick thread and a thin one and tie them together, thus having 3 threads. The thick wire is connected to the hole next to the + sign (it is not connected to the +), the thin one to the hole next to the - sign, the joined ones (one thick and one thin) are inserted into the middle hole (the hole is actually composed of two holes in the PCB). See the electrical diagram and the picture below.

4. Once removed to the opposite side of the wiring, with a knife or other objects, scrape the protective layer from the copper wires, then coat the wire with tin and glue. If the tin doesn't stick to the wire, keep scraping. DO NOT insist with the glue gun if it does not stick. Do not rub with the soldering gun on the wiring, otherwise you may erase the connector printed on the PCB.

5. Power up to 4.2VDC, bring the two Red and Blue wires from the coil closer together, press the start button and between the two wires you should have a constant electric arc. If you don't have it, bring it closer.
