The rotation speed control module for DC motors, which uses the PWM method (Pulse with modulation) to work. Using the PWM method preserves the voltage and power reaching the motor, with the difference that it is delivered in pulses (from 10% to 100%), by changing the duty cycle. In this way, it will be possible to obtain a higher torque compared to the speed control method by decreasing the voltage.

It can control a motor with a maximum power of up to 400W and 10A (recommended under 8A).

The module is only compatible with brushed DC motors (it is not compatible with Brushless motors). There is no reverse polarity protection, which is why make sure the connection is correct so as not to burn the module. As a good practice, we recommend using modules with half of the specified maximum specifications.

It is recommended to monitor the temperature of the module, especially during the test phase, and to improve the cooling in case it overheats.

There is a glass fuse on the module as a measure of protection against excessive current (do not rely on the fact that the fuse will save the module in case of overcurrent, using it at the limit of the specifications for a long time will cause the module to burn) and a plug XH2.54 with 3 pins that can be used as an extension for an external potentiometer.
